PROJECTS

01_edited.jpg

This project explores the latent beauty in transformation and in each of its stages. It seeks a conscious perception of the inherent value of natural change, of life flowing without pause. The process begins with a floral arrangement, captured photographically in its initial state. Until that moment, the process is familiar: the recording of an original composition. But as the days go by and the arrangement begins to transform, I start to document those changes, capturing the unfolding of its evolution. My intention is to reveal its poetry, its autumnal beauty. This life cycle in the arrangement is a mirror of our own seasons, a reminder to value who we are in a time when the passing of years is hidden, denied, and the transformation of our lives is masked. By showcasing the beauty in what is usually associated with decay, I invite us to question our perspective, our values, and our judgments. To ask ourselves about the limits we impose on reality. Just as we seek pleasure and avoid pain, we value youth and undervalue old age; we highlight the shine while polishing the marks of time... This polarization keeps us trapped in duality, which generates suffering. With this project, my first challenge is with myself: to work on my own preconceptions, my paradigms, and how I relate to life. By making visible the beauty in the unexpected, I seek to neutralize judgment and expand perception. By sharing this work, I aspire to touch both the mind and the spirit from an artistic perspective, proposing a practice close to the Buddhist principle of accepting things as they are. Without judgments, integrating extremes, in order to walk, even if just for a moment, the middle path that invites us to embrace the totality of life.
