"Durmiente" emerges from the quest for an integral expression, where photography transcends the simple recording of a floral arrangement. In the act of creating each arrangement, my perception of time changes: it dissolves, along with my own presence. A meditative, almost sacred state arises, where decisions flow, guided by the very essence of the plant material. In that fluidity, the final result emerges organically, as an extension of that inner process. With a neutral background, rustic and austere support, and suggestive, almost dramatic lighting, spatiality becomes both texture and content. It exudes an atmosphere in which silence takes on body and form, creating space for contemplation. With these images, I aim to share that state of active introspection and to convey, almost imperceptibly, that sacred memory that inhabits the everyday.
